A very down-to-earth, carefree kind of guy, he would rather sit around at a table and talk than fight, and is often seen with a smile on his face. Although he has a cheerful, outgoing personality, he can be very stubborn and once he sets his mind on something, there is very little that will get him to change his mind.
He is good friends with both Tora and Inu, and often serves as a mediator to stop their arguments. Despite being the odd animal out in the trio (a herbivore animal while the other two are carnivore animals), the three are often seen together and often referred to as "The Three Muskateers" jokingly.
His weapon of choice is a crossbow; because he dislikes fighting, he would rather attack things from a distance than get up close. However if it comes down to it, he can hold his own in close combat, though he usually leaves Tora and Inu to that department.
